Alvin Q Taylor for PA 15th Senate

Alvin advocates a minimum wage of $15.00 per hour for all Pennsylvanians. The current minimum wage has kept families from making a living wage. I have new ideas that will assist those who are struggling in this economy; with no path forward to improve their lives.

Alvin has worked as Executive Administrator for The Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention, Inc. and its 374 member church constituency. He has worked as a Clinical Chaplain with the Department of Veterans Affairs, for 12 years. Alvin served as a Partnership Specialist leading a team of 10 members with the 2010 US Census. We covered a 17 county region from Perry County to the Poconos, from Dauphin County to York and Adams Counties.

Now, Alvin sees family providers working two jobs and struggling to make ends meets. He agrees with Governor Tom Wolf, that we are losing workers to neighboring states, leaving a labor-force void, within the Commonwealth. I will advocate and present legislation to address the $15.00 minimum wage and earnings.
